SYRIA
Syria is about a Kurdish family from northern Iraq stuck in a one-room house in Syria on their way to Sweden during Ramadan in 1998. While the family waits for the crucial phone call from the Swedish embassy that will give them the opportunity to move, various family issues—such as domestic violence, feminism, and religion—come to the surface. It is a play that combines drama with elements of humor.
SYRIEN
