24H POST #BLM
What does it do to a person to constantly have to challenge the idea of homogeneity while simultaneously feeling the need to present a united front to the outside world?
This story is told through four friends—four women who, by constantly reflecting one another, give each other the space to be more than just the identity markers that unite them. Together, they highlight how multifaceted and thought-out different reactions to racism can be. But what happens to friendship when racist traumas repeatedly invade both the small and the big moments?
The play is partly based on the lives of Fanna Ndow Norrby and her friends, combined with the experiences shared by women who contributed to the @svartkvinna account.
24H POST #BLM
